Responsible for the service delivery in a large it infrastructure project

Hauptaufgaben

This Service Delivery Manager (SDM) is the lead role of the on-site Managed Storage Services team. The Delivery Manager is responsible for both the operational performance of the customer's storage infrastructure. The Service Delivery Manager is responsible for ensuring that the operational processes are followed at all times and that the HDS MSS Delivery Team consistently meets or exceeds the Service Level Agreements that have been negotiated with the client. Those chosen for this role a candidate must have a solid understanding of the technical, communications, process, and financial functions, which must be used in the day-to-day management of an enterprise storage environment. Service Delivery Managers must have a history of managing projects in service-based environments as well as a strong background in managing and motivating teams.

Anforderungen

·Minimum of 10 years of Delivery Management experience in the IT industry.

·Proficient with hardware, software and operating systems found in enterprise environments.

·Possesses General Storage product knowledge. (HDS preferable)

·Possess general understanding of IT Infrastructure and ITSM.

·Strong Understanding of multiple business environments.

·Prior experience leading, motivate and direct a delivery team.

·Ability to prioritize projects and deliverables.

·Excellent Communication (in both English and German) and organizational skills

·Bachelors Degree or equivalent in IT Management or other related technology fields of study.

·ITIL & PMP Certification – strongly preferred
