ORACLE SECURITY ENGINEER

long term contract at top Swiss company

Hauptaufgaben

• Engineer and implement security controls for the Oracle Database product based on CIS CSCs and Security Architecture specifications with a very high focus on end to end automation.
• Interaction with Oracle architects, engineers, operational staff and internal Swiss Re security personnel gather requirements, issues, and tasks to provide and implement engineered security solutions accordingly.
• Provide 3rd level technical expert support for internal colleagues and external service providers.
• Optimize the existing environment by evaluating/developing/implementing new/additional security/products/concepts.
• Create technical documentation such as security concepts, specifications, guidelines, standard operation procedures (SOPs).
• Incorporate automation, optimization and efficiency gains in your daily work.

Anforderungen

• Strong knowledge of Critical Security Controls (CSC) from the Center of Internet Security.
• Strong knowledge and experience with Oracle Database Technology with a special focus on security.
• Experienced with Tripwire or any other Scanning Tool is a must.
• Experienced with Programming languages such as for example JAVA, Python to create automations and integrations.

Soft skills / personal:

• Strong ability to engineer, implement, document.
• Ability to manage, prioritize and solve analyze issues/problems, identify alternative solutions including consequences of proposed actions and implement recommendations quickly and completely.
• Fluent English is a must, conversational German would be beneficial.
• Very strong inter-personal and communication skills.
• Team player. Not only be a team player within the team but also with other teams such as for example Information Security, Technology Architecture, Service Providers, Vendors.
